Our Mission
Learning should not be limited by age. At Lifelong Labs, if you can think it, we can make it happen.
We believe that no one is too young to pursue ambitious projects or too old to learn the latest technologies. That’s why we tailor our classes to meet you, so that you can continue to challenge yourself and make the world a better place, one project at a time.
Our Story
Founded in 2017 at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Lifelong Labs is the world’s first and only learning lab open to ages 0-100+. Equipped with latest technology such as the Ultimaker 3, our Central flagship studio offers project-based intergenerational learning for families in Hong Kong. Our youngest student is one years old and our wisest is 90. We built Lifelong Labs with the ambition of creating a truly intergenerational school that mobilises the experience of retirees to nurture the future leaders.
We believe quality learning must be constant, accessible and affordable for a productive society. That is why Lifelong Labs set out to become the 7-Eleven of education. Our vision is that by 2030, everyone is within walking distance to a lifelong lab, a project-based boutique school designed for young creative geniuses and leaders in their 50s 60s and 70s who are ready to transition from their professional careers to a new phase of giving back through intergenerational social entrepreneurship. It is the idea and possibility that a biology teacher, a corporate lawyer, someone’s grandmother and a computer science major might come together and design an app that revolutionise healthcare.
