Our Policy

Class Cancellations

We know that your time is valuable, and ours is too. Curating each course and event takes a lot of our time, we understand that unexpected delays and making schedule adjustments can occur.

Please note that we do not offer refunds. Any cancellation within 24hr will result in a 50% cancellation charge. However, if you give us 48 hours notice of your need to cancel, we will credit your payment towards another class/event. Please call +852 2540 2484 during office hours or WhatsApp +852 6690 3044 to notify us. If you fail to do so within 24 hours, you will automatically forfeit your class.

Class Registration

Class is not confirmed unless payment is settled 24hrs prior class. If payment is not received, the time slot will be released.

Camp Cancellations

If typhoon 8 or black rain is hoisted, parents are given the option to come to class or cancel. If they choose to cancel, there will be no make-up class, rescheduling or refund for cancelled classes due to weather.

Regarding Covid-19, we will issue a full refund in credit which can be used in any one of our courses including our 1:1 Dreamaker Studio and Creative Parenting Studio or holiday camps in October, Christmas or Chinese New Year. The credit is valid for 6 months from the date of registered camp commencement

minimum enrollment

We do require a minimum attendance policy of at least three students for our holiday camps.  If less than three students are enrolled in the camp 2 days prior to the start of the camp, then the camp will be cancelled. If the camp is cancelled, a WhatsApp will be sent out to all parents and a refund will be issued via PayMe. This policy is intended to ensure students have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with each other.

Package Expiry

Students are expected to use up the package within 1 year of purchase. Credits remaining after a year will not be refunded.

early arrival

We are unable to accommodate students who arrive more than 5 minute early to classes. We ask that students wait outside prior to class time.

Damages

Clients need to be mindful that they are responsible for all equipment which they use, or has been issued to them and they have the responsibility to notify the company of loss/damage to the item(s).

We really value every equipment we use: cameras, DSLR’s, tripods and camera lenses, to name a few. It is important to remember that such items remain the property of Lifelong Labs, and that they can cost a lot of money.

Damage to our equipment is not only expensive to replace, but also takes away the chance for other students to use them and learn from them. So please be careful when you are handling our equipment.

We kindly ask that if there are any damages to the equipment or property of Lifelong Labs then the client or the guardian of the client must pay a minimum of HKD$1,500 to cover the cost of repair.

Field Trips

All parents who sign up for the child for a field trip agree to the fullest extent permitted by law, that your child participating in our field trip is responsible for all aspects of his or her participation in the trip, including obtaining full insurance cover against all related risks, and will not claim against Lifelong Labs or any of its staff, officers, advisers, sponsors, service providers, agents or contractors, or any person associated with it or them, for any injury, damage or loss (including economic and consequential loss) arising at any time or in any manner in connection with the trip.

For any inquires or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
