Welcome to the creative journey of
Jamie and Filippo
Jamie is our voice of reason. He is quick to learn and remains relatively calm and systematic amidst chaos and confusion. He is a strong team player and ready to roll his sleeves up when asked to do tasks whether mundane or exciting. Although he does not always persevere. He is not afraid to asks for help but there are times that he should try before asking. He also has the confidence and level headedness to tell me I am wrong, sometimes with grace and respect. His ability to challenge authority and constantly asking why clearly shows that he is often thinking critically.
The areas in which he can improve in include: communication (content is often good, but execution is lacking eloquence i.e in promo video) and taking initiative. The areas in which he shows great potential: creative problem solving (deemed one of the most important 21st century skills) and collaboration (asking Filippo to get back on task). Overall, it is an absolute pleasure working with Jamie.
Filippo is an excellent communicator, he is confident and dynamic when presenting his ideas. Though he excited for grand visions, sometimes he lack the motivation to complete the work he has started. He often asks for help before he tries and struggles to focus when doing the mundane but necessary parts of the projects. He takes feedback well. Despite in his earlier projects, he paid little attention to detail, when making the cookies, he was very precise with the scale which contributed to the success of the cookie.
The areas in which he can improve in include: focus and persistence. Sometimes he gets overwhelmed and distracted by the things that isn’t the most important. The areas he shows potential is leadership whilst showing greater empathy. Overall, it is very exciting to see how Filippo can continue to grow and take on more ambitious projects.

Dear Catherine and Jutta,
Thank you for supporting Jamie and Ippo on their creative journey. I must admit that I am quite proud of them. When Ippo made me eat this bright red jolly rancher cookie which was a very flat square with lots of wax paper on the bottom, I was very skeptical. I was again very skeptical when Jamie admit to me that he doesn’t like baking. I was left wondering how am I suppose to justify all these classes where we ate cookies, pretended to be food critics and ranked them.
Prior to the cookie adventure and just after electric skateboard, we experienced a brief moment of chaos. It was then I learned how important it was for Jamie and Ippo to strive for a goal, a big ideas with a finish line that they are excited about. Catherine, thank you for generously opening your home to allow us to bake (or should I say make a mess). Jutta, thank you for your endless encouragement and understanding in bringing this project to life (helping us cross the finish line at the very last moments, and of course special shout out to Nico for separating the marshmallows). So excited for their future projects. Again, thank you, I’m confident that they are going to turn out great, because you both are.
Warmly,
Mo
